Some parents just shake their heads in dismay saying "What the hell he's doing to our children", without knowing what the reality is. Tapta's ability to shock some section of society in turn becomes an appeal to draw people to his music. As the generation of his fans matured, Tapta becomes an accepted and deeply interwoven thread in the contemporary music world of Manipur.
