Thematically the lyrics in this album are different from other GVs (Group Volumes). This album also failed to enthuse hardcore Tapta fans. Just one number in this work became a hit among some sections of young Manipuris. Explicit sexual content of the song draws attention of young people. Even the term Yo—adapted from the usage in hip-hop music—represents only the haughty dressed youth in Manipur. Yo is not about positive approach of modern fashion as the number focuses on eroticism and the teens.

Show in the album also highlights courting and dating conventions in contemporary Manipur. The lyrics vividly describe how boys go out in the evening in search of prospective partners in and around Imphal. Lovely damsels come out of their houses to fetch water from nearby source of water, could be ponds or a half running water tap in a locality. The song delineates the sensuality of the encounters between these boys and girls.

Shambul is a song depicting domestic issues and the state of social conflicts happen in Manipur. Tapta’s pick-any-available-topic attitude is what adds unique streak to his lyrics. The song begins by narrating minor altercations between children in a neighborhood eventually resulting in feuds between parents. Tapta is outspoken in what he wants to say. KYKL¹ is a number, where he praises some proscribed outfits’ effort to root out corruption in the state.

At times, people in Imphal valley hear bone-chilling incidents of armed intruders in black ransacking houses and private properties. The track Fimu— literal meaning black attire— is Tapta’s way of expressing his anger against bunch of native robbers who are robbing the people already robbed by an unstable political situation.
